Thousands of businesses from around the world are taking part in the Global Talent Survey and recruiters in Northern Ireland are being invited to share their experiences.

Businesses across Northern Ireland are being invited to share their experiences of hiring here as part of the Global Talent Survey.

The survey is collecting information on jobs, qualifications, mobility and new ways of working and hopes to provide a unique snapshot of the international labour market.

The research is being conducted by the Boston Consulting Group and The Network – an international partnership of leading recruitment websites. Meanwhile recruitment website, NIJobs.com is Northern Ireland's representative.

NIJobs.com’s general manager Sam McIlveen said:  “The world is connected as it has never been before and the growth in talent mobility is set to increase exponentially in the coming years. Businesses need to better understand changes and opportunities to the global workforce as new industries emerge and skills are needed quickly in different parts of the world.

"The Global Talent Survey hope to address this issue. For businesses, this is a unique opportunity to understand how global talent flows and shed light on where to source talent – whether it is from specific countries or from industries with certain skills and experience. The survey will provide recruiters in NI with the insight they need to formulate an effective recruitment strategy and tackle skills shortages head on.”

The Global Talent Survey is open until the middle of March.
