The Role:

The Accounts Clerical Officer will have responsibility for daily Head Office banking at bank branch and specific elements of sales reconciliations including cash sales and contract invoicing, and will also provide a broad range of clerical support duties to the Treasury Department Team.

The Person:

Desirable Criteria:

Experience of undertaking a range of bank transactions at a bank branch counter

Good working understanding and experience of using databases and management information systems

Experience of operating a computerised Financial Package in particular General Ledger for sales reconciliations and Sales Ledger for billing

Experience of ledger account reconciliations and detailed data analysis

Sound knowledge of customer care practices

Committed to providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers

Minimum of 3 GCSE’s at Grade C or equivalent including English and Maths or alternatively be able to demonstrate at least 2 years relevant experience in a similar post

Ability to undertake tasks which require attention to detail and solving problems through to satisfactory conclusion

Experience of using Microsoft Office packages including Word and Excel

Ability to work as part of a team

Efficient data entry and numeracy skills
