First Choice is currently recruiting Field Service Technician for their client based in Lisburn however will be working in the Omagh area.

First Choice is currently recruiting Field Service Technician for their client based in Lisburn. This position requires work to be carried across Omagh area reporting to the Lisburn depot a few times per week however a company vechicle will be supplied.

Job Summary 

As a Field Technician you will be required to visit client’s homes, day centres and schools to assess faults/complete repairs on powered and manual wheelchairs, you will be responsible for fitting additional parts and/or complete modifications on powered/manual wheelchairs. In addition to delivering and complete equipment handover procedures with clients or collecting said equipment from clients. You will be expected to provide a professional, friendly and high level of service to our clients.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate daily workload
  • Carry out maintenance on powered/manual wheelchairs
  • Fault finding and carry out repairs as per equipment specification
  • Fit suppliers accessories
  • Refurbish wheelchairs
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Ensure company documents/job cards are completed and returned to office
  • Ensure equipment is labelled for identification purposes
  • Report back to team leader

 

Personal Specification

  • 2 years’ experience in a customer facing role
  • 2 years’ experience working in a mechanical/electrical/repairs role
  • 5 GCSE’s including Math’s and English
  • Computer literate
  • Full clean driving licence

 

The suitable candidate for this position must have excellent team working skills, be planned and organised with excellent communication skills. This position will be paid at £19,750 per annum and a company vehicle will be supplied. The hours of work are 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
