Excellent opportunity for two KS2 Teachers based in Hampshire.

Two KS2 Teacher’s

Competitive Starting Salary – £23,720 NQT ranging to £34,665

Full-Time – Permanent from 1 January 2020

Due to re-location (one of our teachers is moving to Wales), we are looking for two Year 4 (Primary 5) class teachers from January 2020.

Abbotswood Junior School, the largest junior school in Hampshire with over 600 children, is looking for a KS2 from January 2020.  Situated on the edge of the beautiful New Forest, just a 2 mile journey from the maritime city of Southampton, an hour’s train ride to London and with easy access to the beaches in Bournemouth, this could be the perfect chance to experience something totally new and exciting.

Furthermore, if you are looking for a school that is totally committed to your professional development, then Abbotswood is the school for you.

(Ofsted) “An exceptional staff coaching programme is in place throughout Abbotswood. Teachers at the school receive expert mentoring and professional development opportunities.”

We are a lively and happy school with highly motivated, well-behaved and responsive children. With large fields, open spaces and a purpose-built sports hall, we have a pleasant environment in which to work.

This would also be a fantastic opportunity to work in a forward-thinking school with a clear vision for teaching and learning.  This has been recognised by the Local Authority who frequently use the school to demonstrate effective Teaching and Learning to other schools.

The position is suitable for either an NQT, RQT or experienced teacher.

Please feel free to contact Glenn Moore (Head Teacher) for an informal chat about the school and vacancy.
