Regional Sales Manager / Sales Representative

T&T Distributors is a leading wholesale supplier of stoves, fireplaces, flues and fireplace products throughout Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.

Due to a growth focus we have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Representative to join the team, with responsibility for Republic of Ireland and part of Northern Ireland.

ROLE

We’re looking for a results-driven sales representative responsible for maintaining and developing strong relationships with our retailer network. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth and profitability. The role will involve daily travelling to visit customers in their retail premises as well as regularly working with the team in the office.

Full technical and brand training will be provided to any successful candidate coming from outside the stove & fireplace industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Present, promote and sell products/services using robust arguments to existing and prospective customers

• Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships

• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

• Keep abreast of industry tastes and trends to inform new product development

• Analyse customer and product performance data and take appropriate action

• Be keenly aware of any customer credit issues and work with credit control to resolve

• Coordinate trade exhibitions, drive new initiatives as you see fit and travel further afield to visit suppliers and shape what products to stock.

Criteria

Essential

• Strong sales experience in a B2B sales role (3 years minimum).

• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales

• Ability to build and maintain lasting, honest and effective relationships with customers

• Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills

• Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills

• Knowledge of or strong desire to acquire extensive knowledge of the technical aspects of the fireplace and stove industry

• Knowledge of or strong desire to acquire knowledge of consumer tastes and trends in the fireplace and stove industry, with a goal of both representing this to retailers and developing our product range

• Ability to build strong relationships with the office team and other sales representative

• Enthusiastic interest in our products

Desirable

• Knowledge and experience in the fireplace and stove industry

• Entrepreneurial spirit with a drive to undertake new initiatives, develop new products and shape the direction of the business.

• Degree level education

BENEFITS

£27,000 – £35,000 basic depending on experience + bonus + company car + phone
