Excellent opportunity for a Electromechanical Maintenance Fitter based in the North West.
Based in the North West, Niche Drinks is a manufacturer of premium alcoholic beverages and is now seeking to appoint the following:
Electromechanical Maintenance Fitter
Job Reference Number MF107
The successful candidate will work in all our production and ancillary areas servicing the processing and packing lines in the production of cream liqueurs, cocktails and other beverages.
Applicants must have a minimum of 4 GSCE’s (including Maths and English Language) at grade D or above and have a relevant City & Guilds or equivalent engineering qualification. They must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 5 years’ experience within roles involving both electrical and mechanical disciplines, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Experience of PLC & SCADA systems is essential.
Previous experience within the food or pharmaceutical industry is desirable. A current Level 2 CIEH award in Food Safety and valid forklift license are also desirable
Successful candidates must have ability to work on their own initiative; they must be able to demonstrate that they can work independently on design and specifications for small projects. They will be good team workers and must be flexible with regard to overtime working including early mornings, weekends and shifts. Applicants should have a high level of manual dexterity and be able to maintain our high standards of personal hygiene, workplace cleanliness and quality.
Previous experience of ISO/BRC and HACCP quality systems is desirable.
