Excellent opportunity for a Credit Controller based in Dungannon


Westland is leading the way in horticulture, and is proud to be one of the largest horticultural companies in the UK and Europe. A market leader in our categories, we supply a wide range of gardening, pet care and environmental products to the retail market.

Due to continued expansion we are currently seeking a Credit Controller join our head office team, based in Granville Industrial Estate Dungannon. The successful candidate will be an important member of a growing team reporting directly to the Group Credit and Commercial Admin Manager, and will assist in the effective cash collection and management of all credit accounts within the agreed Company Credit Policy.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Cash collection;
  • Managing accounts within agreed limits and payment terms;
  • Cash allocation;
  • Account reconciliations;
  • Ledger maintenance;
  • Develop and Maintain strong customer relationships;
  • Achieving monthly targets;
  • Customer query management;
  • Liaise with other Departments to ensure efficient order flow ;
  • Providing monthly credit management reports to Group Credit Manager;

Essential Criteria:

  • Possess GSCE Math’s and English or equivalent at grade C or above;
  • Previous credit control experience – minimum of 3 years;
  • Experience of working to targets/deadlines;
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills;
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs with strong capabilities within Excel;
  • Strong communication & organisational skills;
  • Methodical, logical and possess excellent attention to detail; 

The hours of work are Monday – Friday 9.00am-5.30pm
