Temporary Production Team Leader required for our Kerry site in Omagh.

About the role
A temporary Production Team Leader is required for our Kerry site in Omagh.
High Performing Teams (Build Sustainability Through People)
Lead the Production Stream team to ensure they are engaged and high performing with a focus on problem solving and team work. Build trust through effective leadership and the skilled application of people management processes and open 2 way communications.
Support Production Operations
Support and manage the team to convert material into work in progress (WIP) or finished product by formally executing production schedule. Use visual management tools to ensure standard line output is achieved.
Document and Train Standard Work
Document standard work (WES & SOP’s), train team members using Job Instruction Training and manage team member capability using Training & Versatility matrices.
Execute Continuous Improvement
Continuously improve standards set by executing 8 Step
Check that standards set within the Production Stream are adhered to through layered confirmation

Qualifications and skills
Proficient written, numerical and verbal skills
Fluency of English language (Oral and Written)
Numerical ability to record, interpret and analyse key process data
Relevant experience in a manufacturing operation
Team management experience
Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge & understanding of manufacturing processes
Understanding and ability to apply in live situations the principles and tools of lean manufacturing:
To have a detailed knowledge of the machinery and processes in the area of responsibility
Proficient in the use of MS Office tools
