We currently have a vacancy for the following position: Process Controller (PERMANENT) REF: KPC/09/19


The Role:

Enthusiastic about Food, want to be part of a successful business, willing to learn and develop to meet our customer service needs

  • To carry out specific process control checks within production and storage areas throughout the shift
  • To record all process control checks information on process control sheets
  • To report any identified non-conformities to department supervisor or department manager
  • To adhere to the correct quality checking, record keeping and housekeeping standards
  • To follow instructions, guidelines, company policies and procedures any other reasonable duties deemed necessary by the company

 Requirements:

  • Confident working unsupervised and using initiative
  • High level of organisational skills and ‘can do attitude’
  • Working to ensure high standards of Health and Safety and Food Safety are adhered to
  • Ability to effectively communicate with the team
  • Ability to accurately record checks
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • IT skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook) is desirable
  • Previous experience within the red meat processing industry desirable
  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above, or equivalent desirable
