Job title: Payroll Specialist

Reports to: Payroll Supervisor

Main purpose of role & level in the business:

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks which will include, but is not limited to, the following duties: 

  • Reports to the payroll supervisor to assist with the completion of the monthly payroll runs in the UK and across several non-UK jurisdictions
  • Plays a key role in processing payroll related projects from beginning to end
  • Contributes to the operations of the global payroll function, interacting with outsourced providers in different jurisdictions
  • Maintain procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing of UK and global payroll 
  • Work with Legal, Finance, and People Support departments to ensure payroll compliance in all regions
  • Assist in creation of payroll processes in new global locations

This is a full-time hours position

Minimum (essential) requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a payroll role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Desirable criteria:

  • Experience of global payroll
  • Exposure to tax equalisation and shadow payroll rules and legislation
