Belfast Met are seeking to appoint an Organisational Curriculum Quality Assurance Manager (OCQAM) on a permanent full time basis.

Role

Belfast Met are seeking to appoint an Organisational Curriculum Quality Assurance Manager (OCQAM) on a permanent full time basis.

The Post holder will lead on quality across the college, including providing quality assurance statements to the Governing Body, and CQE committee on a quarterly basis, ensuring that the academic quality infrastructure is in place to meet curriculum requirements, and ensure the college is consistently at the leading edge of quality practice.

What you need:

Qualifications / Experience / Knowledge

  • Hold a relevant qualification at Degree level 6 or above
  • Hold a PGCE (Level 7) if the primary degree is not a B. Ed
  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of successfully managing, developing and/or delivering a curriculum/training programmes
  • Proven experience of being involved in ETI or QAA inspections
  • Proven experience of leading on/managing external verification (EE/EV) visits/inspections by external awarding bodies
  • Proven experience of developing and/or implementing standardisation processes, in relation to standardising for awarding bodies or observation practices
  • Current, or recent, experience of being an external examiner (EE) or inspector for an awarding or inspecting body
  • Proven experience of negotiation, consultation and influencing at a senior level to achieve results
  • Proven experience of coordinating or managing a team
