Excellent opportunity for a Human Resources Administrator based in Newry.
HOURS: 36 PER WEEK
GRADE: BAND 3 NJC 14 – 17
SALARY: £17,681 – £18,672 PER ANNUM
LOCATION: NEWRY CAMPUS
(There will be a requirement to travel to other campuses)
REPORTS TO: HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER / MANAGER
Working within a team of 11, the successful candidate will assist the Human Resources and Development department in providing a high quality, confidential administrative service to the College.
Based within the Newry West Campus, the Human Resources and Development team is made up of two significant areas with a vacant position in the Employee Development and Equality section delivering the Learning and Development, Health and Wellbeing Programme and Equality Action Plan.
1.A minimum of a Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Human Resources or a closely related discipline.
2.A pass grade at GCSE Level in English Language or Essential Skills Level 2 in Literacy or an equivalent qualification.
3.A pass grade at GCSE Level in Mathematics or Essential Skills Level 2 in Numeracy or NICATS Access Maths Modules or an equivalent qualification.
4. A minimum of two years’ recent experience in a busy office environment including administration experience in one of the following areas; recruitment, payroll, absence management or equality or employee development.
Other Essential Criteria
A full current driving licence which enables you to drive in Northern Ireland and access to a car for official business purposes. (Please refer to the General section in the application pack for further information).
