 Job Description

NEW ROLE-Carn Coldstore is a fantastic new state of the art facility, welcomed by many in the supply chain throughout both Island of Ireland and the UK. We are now recruiting a H+S officer to secure an continually improving safe operation of all Company sites for all employees and visitors.

 

Job Description

  • Assist all managers to transfer and deliver site KPIs and Legal requirements
  • Train, support and advise wider site team on Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers, supervisors and employees
  • Policy setting and implementation of new and current procedures, policies and safe systems of work
  • Ensure site safety inspections and fire drills are carried out
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety Legislation
  • Conduct Health and Safety inspections and investigations
  • Carry out Risk Assessments/ Audits and follow up action planning
  • Auditing – internal and assistance during external
  • Responsible for the management of health and safety onsite
  • Lead safety inductions with all present and new employees
  • Provide statistical information and management reports
  • Develop method statements and liaise with clients in regard to Health and Safety
  • Liaise with external and regulatory bodies as required
