We are currently looking to fill the role of Document Controller / Administrator to support our growing Document Control Team in our fabulous new Head Quarters based in Banbridge. This post is a permanent contract and offers an amazing opportunity for a candidate who wants to gain experience with a progressive and dynamic company.

Job Title: Document Controller / Administrator

Location: Head Quarters – Banbridge, Co Down

Hours : 38 Hours per week; 8.00am to 5pm Mon to Thurs and 8am to 3pm Friday

Salary: Competitive depending on experience

Responsible to: Senior Document Controller

Closing Time and Date: 5pm, 26th September 2019

Job summary:

Reporting to the Senior Document Controller you will be an essential part of the Document Control Team supporting our business needs and progressing your career.

Responsibilities of role:

  • Process a large number of documents daily, including uploading & downloading                  drawings / documents and printing distribution.
  • Maintain accurate document record logs of all drawings and documents issued by all          parties at each stage of a project. 
  • General administration of project documents.
  • Preparation of O&M Manuals.
  • Perform weekly checks to ensure all project documents are kept up to date.
  • Build, manage & maintain relationships with clients, contractors, other construction             professionals, suppliers and staff.
  • Report to the Senior Document Controller on a daily basis.
  • To maintain high standards of work within your department.
  • General administrative work and any other duties necessary to support office staff.

To be considered for the role you will require:

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills – to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to use company Document Control System (Viewpoint 4 Projects) Full training         will be given.
  • Ability to take ownership of their duties and a willingness to grow and learn within their       team and the company.
  • Demonstrate a good ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
