The Role

Due to significant business expansion, we are keen to add a Commercial Accountant reporting to our Group Finance Manager, within our Lisburn HQ.  This is a pivotal role, helping us to deliver a first-class service to our international group.  Key responsibilities will include:

  • Monthly management accounts for a number of group companies;
  • Fixed Asset register maintenance;
  • Assisting with Capex analysis and reporting;
  • Intercompany reconciliations;
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations;
  • Assisting with Cashflow forecasting and reporting;
  • Assisting with completion of group reporting pack;
  • EC Sales and Intrastat monthly returns;
  • Completion of statistical forms;
  • Assisting with year-end audit;
  • Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets;
  • Ad-hoc project work and duties as and when required.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Recently Qualified accountant;
  • Advanced Excel skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to work to tight deadlines;
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency across the Microsoft office suite;
  • Able to prioritise and manage a varied workload whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy. 


  • Preference for ACA or CIMA qualification with 1st time passes;
  • Trained in a Big-4 environment would be advantageous but not essential.
