As an employee within the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences in Queen’s University you are part of a continuum which has survived successfully for more than one hundred and seventy years.

This is a full-time post available for five years.

You will provide comprehensive and professional administrative and financial support within the Northern Ireland Clinical Research Facility (NICRF) and will deputise for the Operations Manager. You will be based in NICRF University Floor, Belfast City Hospital and you will be responsible for supporting the Operations Manager in ensuring the effective governance and financial management of the NICRF.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Academic and/or vocational qualifications i.e. NVQ Level 3, A levels in relevant subject (or equivalent)
  • 4 years relevant work experience.
  • Experience supervising, training and mentoring staff.
  • Experience of servicing meetings, to include taking and drafting minutes, preparing reports.
  • Experience of dealing with e-mail and internet.
  • Experience of Financial monitoring.
