Chef 

University of Ulster – Jordanstown Campus

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Preparation and cooking of food.
  • HACCP
  • General housekeeping of the kitchen.
  • Staff supervision.
  • Cash handling/till duties.
  • Opening of facility.
  • Unit bookwork including stock taking.
  • Good customer service.
  • Ability to drive sales.
  • Strong team player.

Essential Criteria:

  • NVQ level 3 food preparation & food hygiene.
  • Good understanding of speaking and writing the English language.
  • Clean full driving licence.

Desirable Criteria:

  • 2yrs plus experience cooking in a busy factory environment.

Hours of work: 30hrs per week, to suit the needs of the business

Rate of pay: TBC

Contract: Permanent
