This apprentice opportunity would be best suited to an individual who would like to start or change their career path. The individual will be trained by an experienced team and will be given exposure to our manufacturing process.

Location: Belfast



The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced prepress personnel to gain the skill sets required to become a fully competent member of the team.   On the job training will be delivered whilst the individual works towards BPIF and NVQ level 3 qualifications and they will be given exposure to all aspects of the business to better understand pre & post press requirements.



The apprentice will be trained to:

  • Prepress Admin tasks
  • Repro graphic editors and systems
  • Litho kit preparation and plate making
  • To use relevant office software and other WestRock software
  • To keep work area clean and tidy ensuring that the highest standards of housekeeping are always maintained
  • To identify and report problems or deviations from standards
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives



  • Determination – Ability to overcome obstacles
  • Be self-motivated, standards driven, with a keen eye for detail and are computer literate
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines
  • Problem-solving skills



  • Good standard of education including English & Maths
  • Demonstrable experience of good team working & communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience working to high-quality standards
