We are now recruiting for: ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT
We are recruiting for a professional individual to join our Accounts team to assist in the preparation of accounts and support Company goals through delivery of excellent service.
We would love to hear from you if you have previous experience in a similar finance role. You would also have a good standard of education, with advanced Microsoft excel skills and a working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts. Experience of Open GI software would be a distinct advantage, however not essential as training will be given.
Your role will assist the Financial Controller with preparation of the monthly management accounts on Sage, including daily/month end duties, accounts to trial balance level, Nominal ledger postings, Completion of Bank reconciliations including petty cash accounts, schedules for prepayments and accruals, daily processing of invoices from verification and coding of invoices to payment control.
You will be responsible for ensuring accounts are managed effectively in accordance with the Company credit policy and suggesting ways to improve the day to day credit control process, carrying out formal reviews and record action to recover debt to ensure debt is tightly controlled.
You will also ensure suppliers are paid within the credit periods, complete management reporting and possess a good understanding and awareness of FCA regulations.
This role offers an attractive remuneration and Benefits Package. This is a permanent role 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm.
