TITLE OF POST: Technical Services Analyst  – Event Management

LOCATION: Belfast

RESPONSIBLE TO: Service Delivery Manager  

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

To work as part of the growing team within Novosco helping to establish any issues via daily tasks and logging these issues accordingly. As a key member of the team you will also be involved in coming up with new ideas and continual improvement of our processes and practices.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Following prescribed daily checklists to locate potential issues within customer environments
  • Logging of remediation tickets for issues observed
  • Responding to alerts generated by monitoring systems
  • Provide feedback on recurring issues
  • Work with colleagues to improve proactive checklists

Skills and qualities required:

  • Experience in the IT industry
  • Experience and or certification in any of our vendor technologies including VMware, EMC, Cisco, Citrix and / or Microsoft
  • Able to work as part of the team and on your own initiative
  • Access to a car

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Training: Internal training on products and services will be provided. However, staff are also expected to consistently keep abreast of new developments, which would impact on his/her areas of responsibility. Personal training in relation to job description will be given as part of the company’s overall personnel development program.

Conditions of Employment;  Salary: The salary and benefits for this position will be determined according to the experience of the person appointed. General Guidance:The nominal working week is 37.5 hours, although a degree of flexibility is both offered and expected. In specific circumstances there may be a requirement to work additional hours. Annual holidays are 24 days plus 7 public holidays. Novosco Ltd operates a Non Smoking Policy.
