The Information Commissioner is the UK’s independent regulator of information rights and is seeking to recruit a Support Officer to her office in Belfast. Either a graduate or someone with graduate level working experience, you will act as first point of contact for organisations and members of the public seeking advice and guidance, and assist more senior colleagues in managing key stakeholder relationships. You will also provide a full range of administrative support to the local team including the Head of ICO Regions, the Regional Manager and other staff based within the office whilst working closely with our staff in Cardiff and Edinburgh and our main office in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
You should have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate well, both orally and in writing. You should be well organised and flexible in your approach to working and provide high standards of customer care to members of the public and to stakeholder organisations.
This full time role will be based in our Belfast office but on occasion will involve travel throughout Northern Ireland and to our other offices in Cardiff, Edinburgh and Wilmslow.
