Operations Administrator / Stock controller
Purpose of Role
To assist the Operations Centre Manager in the day to day running of the Operations Centre.
·Maintain KPI reports and excel spreadsheets to support the service Administration function
·Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out of stock.
·Placing orders to replenish stock ensuring the budget is not exceeded.
·Track Shipments and address any delays.
·Oversee the storage of all products, particularly the fragile products.
·To issue and receive back in stock returned items against driver’s routes.
·To maintain all records relating to the sale of consumables.
·To carry out stock takes on a period basis.
·To allocate routes to drivers when required.
·To conduct vehicle checks on a weekly basis and arrange the service of all vehicles when required, including road tax and DOE of all vehicles.
·To keep stock areas clean and tidy and update labeling, as and when required.
·To carry out period end stock take, as per agreed schedule.
·Report any defects in equipment or protective clothing immediately.
·Maintain a clean and tidy working area.
·To ensure the depot is locked up at night and all vehicles are in the depot at night.
·You will be required to go, to our Depots from time to time.
·Any other duties that may be required by management.
Skills and Knowledge Required
·Hold a valid B driving license.
·Whilst a forklift licence is not necessary it would be an advantage, training will be provided
·Experience in Microsoft suite or products, in particular excel and word would be an advantage.
