POSITION:

Based at our Plant in Lurgan, a full time, permanent opportunity has arisen in our Senior Leadership Team for an ambitious experienced Operations/Production Manager.  The primary focus is on ensuring the maximum labour efficiency, productivity on machinery whilst ensuring the machinery runs consistently to the highest tolerances and minimum waste. The position will be day shift Monday to Friday.  This role would suit someone with extensive people engagement skills from a high volume manufacturing background who is well versed in lean manufacturing methodologies.

SCOPE:

Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations/Production Manager will:

  • Lead, organise and develop processes and systems for the Production, Quality and Despatch department to ensure the maximum labour utilisation, uptime availability and utilisation of all the sites assets in conjunction with other relevant departments, to the required productivity and quality standard while taking all opportunities to minimise costs
  • Implement best practice lean techniques and culture to achieve the aims of the department ensure a strong root cause analysis programme
  • Help drive the sites net zero energy initiatives
