About this Role:

With a constantly growing team at ShopKeep Belfast, we are on the hunt for an Office Assistant to support the Office Operations Manager in the day to day running of the office. The Office Assistant will be a jack-of-all-trades, with duties ranging from reception, office management, interview scheduling and admin. No two days are alike and the ideal candidate will be a team-player who enjoys as a challenge and is open to jumping in and supporting wherever needed. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow in a fast-paced, fun environment within the growing tech industry.

Please note that this is fixed-term contract / assignment.

The role will involve:

  • Front of house reception duties including answering phones and greeting visitors
  • Managing supplies e.g. stationery, kitchen supplies, technical hardware
  • Management of office facilities
  • Supporting with administrative tasks
  • Planning employee social events
  • Meeting room management and scheduling
  • The person we are looking for should have:
  • Strong all-round administrative abilities
  • Skills in computing, including email and word processing
  • Confident dealing with people and a good telephone manner
  • Strong organisational skills and an ability to multitask
  • Understanding of budgets and financial planning
  • Strong sense of initiative and independent ability to problem solve

Essential

  • Strong verbal, written and communication skills
  • GCSE Maths and English
  • Demonstrable computer literacy
  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Desirable
  • Degree education
  • Experience in an administrative role
  • Experience using G Suite and/or Mac OS
  • Experience working with business executives and senior management

Special Conditions

Within the context of the main job duties, manual handling and heavy lifting will be required. This is a fixed-term contract / assignment, working 40 hours per week. There is a requirement to work on an agreed work schedule, which may include late evening hours, as needed.
