 Job Description

To ensure assemblies, sub-assemblies and units are manufactured in accordance with work instructions


Maintain database for sub-department including excel spreadsheet for daily output

Link between production and dispatch to transfer tested product to packing

Ensure training and work instructions are correct for all assembly (PAD, Trainer)

To perform other such operations on product for which appropriate training/instruction has been given

To keep work areas tidy and organised at all times

To observe anti-static precautions at all times on the Production floor and to ensure that visitors to the Production floor either observe such precautions themselves or are prevented from handling product

To observe all safety precautions particular to operation undertaken and to use such protective garments or aids as provided for the purpose

To exercise vigilance in respect of defective materials or product and to report any such defects in accordance with non-conforming material procedures and inform immediately to the Manufacturing Engineer or Quality Representative

To attend such training as provided and required to perform duties whether in relation to operations or Quality

To be aware of the Quality standards imperative in all aspect of work

To maintain awareness of the Company Health & Safety Policy and Fire Evacuation Procedure and take all reasonable precautions against personal harm or injury

To understand and apply the Company Quality Procedures and contribute to change as required

To supply kits of material to production in accordance with procedure H001-003-045 following suitable training as and when required.

Deal with assembly operator queries

Complete return to work interviews in a timely manner for division

Assist in the induction training Module 4 for all new starts
