Salary Scale: Band 6 (£27,772 – £36,280) per annum

Shared Services (SS) is part of the Finance Directorate within the BSO delivering and supporting a wide range of services to Health and Social Care in Northern Ireland. As our Lead Information Analyst you will be key to delivering information and intelligence across Shared Services.

BSO Shared Services is seeking to appoint a confident, committed, skilled and motivated analyst to work as part of the Project Team. You will play a pivotal role in the development and provision of data. You will offer knowledge and guidance, ensuring a comprehensive and accurate reporting and statistical information analysis.

As part of this role you will be expected to:

  • Provide high quality ad-hoc, routine, contractual, organisational and statutory information to support internal and external performance monitoring including developments of performance dashboards
  • Help to identify areas of underperformance including supporting the development of actions plans and trajectories where appropriate BSO Lead Information Analyst (Transformation)
  • Developing, documenting and using methods for data extraction from corporate systems and production of information You should have the ability to produce intelligence derived from a range of data collected via the BSO systems help locally and deliver succinct reporting that supports stakeholder requirements that may be used for service delivery, service improvement, business planning and performance management. You will possess good technical, analytical, communication and organisational skills with a flair for improvement

Candidates should be educated to Degree level or equivalent experience. Experience of using Microsoft applications including Microsoft Excel to interrogate, analyse and present data is appropriate formats is an essential requirements of this post.

Knowledge of BSO IT systems is desirable.

This is a full time post (37.5 hours) and will be based in Belfast.
