 Job Description

You’ll be joining a fast-growing business that delivers IT Lifecycle Managed Services, including Secure IT Disposal, Data Destruction, Deployment Support and IT Remarketing solutions to a wide range of organisations.


What you will be doing?

You’ll grow the business, by fostering and developing relationships with equipment buyers. Responsible for several product categories including PCs, Laptops, Server and Enterprise, TFTs, Network items and harvested parts to an existing client base, as well as qualifying and generating new buyers, you’ll be highly motivated, with ability to identify and develop new business prospects.

AMI is a locally owned, global distributor of premium quality refurbished IT equipment sourced from global corporations and government departments throughout the UK & Ireland. We specialise in desktop PC’s, laptops, servers and workstations. We pride ourselves on an industry-leading service combined with an experienced, knowledgeable and personable team who strive to build lasting customer relationships.

We are an expertly run, lean organisation with an engaged, friendly and collaborative 75 strong team working across all functions, the business has grown rapidly in recent years, and our turnover now exceeds £6million.  We are keen to build on our success and continue to have ambitious growth plans, with a target to double our size within the next 3 years.

The Role

Key Tasks and Duties

  • Specialising in selling several product categories including PCs, Laptops, Server and Enterprise equipment, TFTs, Network items and harvested parts
  • Maximising financial return for the business and our clients
  • Contact existing customers to build and develop relationships
  • Prospecting and contacting potential new buyers
  • Increasing the portfolio of item categories for resale
  • Following up on leads and enquiries from Trade Shows etc
  • Administrative tasks
  • Accurately updating CRM and providing reports for Management

The role will be mainly office based; however, some travel will be required where necessary for trade shows and to onboard new buyers.
