Wiggle CRC are looking for an experienced HR person to join their team in a HR Management role on an 11 month FTC. Note: Both Full or Part-Time applicants will be considered

Wiggle CRC are looking for an experienced HR person to join their team in a HR Management role on a 12 month FTC.

Reporting to the CEO of WiggleCRC, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all HR functions across four sites (professional and operational) with a combined headcount of 250, alongside managing a team of two HR colleagues. This is a maternity cover for a period of up to 12 months and ideally the candidate will be able to start mid October 2019 to enable a handover.

Key job roles:

  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on policies and organisational change and challenges
  • Work alongside HR Manager within Wiggle, Portsmouth to ensure consistency of group HR related activities
  • Influence and lead on HR/change management projects and initiatives
  • Support the talent team with recruitment and selection requirements and delivery of an effective onboarding plan
  • Manage all employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, redundancy
  • Assist with the annual pay review process and continue to develop and promote the employee benefits offering
  • Support and guide managers with the performance management process – PIP/probation/mid year & annual PDR’s
  • Evolve and manage the HR line management training sessions
  • Continuously improve group policies and procedures and update in line with legislative requirements
  • Oversee effective employee communication strategy (including running site staff hub meetings)
  • Ensure compliance with annual monitoring obligations  
  • Support the ongoing development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems

Skills and Experience:

  • Candidate must have a university Degree in Human Resource Management or be CIPD qualified
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a Senior HR Business Partner/HR Manager role
  • 2 years’ experience in staff management
  • Strong employment law knowledge in GB & NI
  • Proven success in supporting and coaching line management
  • Self starter
  • Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
