The 4-star Maldron Hotel Derry is located within Derry’s historic city walls, offering luxurious accommodation and easy access to the city’s theatres, restaurants and shops.

All rooms have free WiFi access, a work desk and seating. Some rooms have views of the River Foyle and the 400-year-old city walls.

The Grain & Grill Restaurant serves a variety of seasonal and local dishes. A full Ulster or continental breakfast is available. The Lyric Bar boasts a varied menu with a relaxed atmosphere and complimentary live entertainment at weekends.

Food & Beverage Role:

A Food & Beverage Assistant is responsible for working in all areas of Food and Beverage as needed; to deliver an excellent Guest/Customer experience while working to achieve departmental targets.

As a Food & Beverage Assistant you are essentially responsible for ensuring our guests have an outstanding experience within all of our Food & Beverage Outlets. 


Essential Criteria for this post includes:

  • Bar Experience would be an advantage
  • Positive attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service
  • Excellent grooming standards
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Ability to work on your own or in teams

Desirable Criteria

  • A minimum of 6 months consistent experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector.
  • A minimum of 1 years work experience in a customer facing role.
