Finance & Payroll Administrator – Temporary (FPAT574)

 Main Purpose of role:

  • To assist in the administration of payroll to deadlines and produce payroll reports and provide support for management accounting department

Job Background/Key Responsibilities:

  • Input daily Works employee timesheets into ERP system by Works order, stage and product
  • Check off each daily employee timesheet against Time and Attendance Software
  • Check overtime authorized and update on TMS
  • Complete a daily reconciliation of Actual labour time keyed from timesheets to TMS reports to ensure all timesheets keyed
  • Enter holiday requests onto TMS and holiday spreadsheet
  • Complete daily Absence report and circulate
  • Assisting with move of employee timesheet entry to integration into ERP system
  • Assist in project to update Time & Attendance Software
  • Assist in stock counts and stock valuation
  • Support costing department in preparing costs for Sales Managers
  • Process and approval free issue sales orders
  • Support Account Receivable sending out statements and invoices
  • Adhoc duties as and when required

The Person/Skills Required:

  • Good ‘Team-Player’ who demonstrates flexibility within the role/wider finance department
  • Possess a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Good Communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work to a high level of accuracy/ attention to detail
  • Confidentiality

Essential Criteria:

  1. Good Practical IT Skills, (particularly Microsoft Excel)
  2. Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) Grade C or above including English and Maths
  3. 1 years’ experience of working in a payroll or finance environment
  4. Demonstrate high level of attention to detail in previous role(s)

Desirable Criteria:

  1. Working knowledge of Microsoft Navision (or an equivalent ERP system).
