Excellent opportunity for a Despatch/Stores Co-Ordinator based in Fivemiletown.

Scott’s Bakery are a specialist manufacturer of Small Cakes supplying the Irish and GB Markets

Due to increasing demand, we currently have a vacancy for the following:

Despatch/Stores Co-Ordinator

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 40.8 Hrs

Rate of Pay: £9.50-£10.50 /hr

(£14.25 to £15.75/hr for hours worked before 6.00am & Saturday Morning Overtime)

(£19.00 to £21.00/hr if working a full day Saturday Overtime)

Reporting to Production Management the successful candidate will:

  • Co-ordinate daily despatch/stores duties for team operators
  • Be able to work on their own initiative and have a common-sense approach
  • Meet high quality standards
  • Communicate with contracted hauliers regarding collections and pick up times
  • Input receiving & despatching data into SAGE MRP system
  • Complete Quality checks in accordance with Quality Systems and communicate findings to Quality team
  • Proactively follow Health & Safety procedures
  • Complete any other reasonable duties as required
  • Communicate well with other team members and Production Management Team
  • Appreciate and maintain a Clean, Dry, Warm working environment
  • Enjoy a busy but organised work environment
  • Loading & unloading of deliveries and organising storage
  • Control Stock Rotation and avoid Waste on Limited Life Material (FIFO)
  • Stock take routines/ Maintain accurate Stock records

Essential criteria:

  • Good communication skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Previous despatch/store experience
  • Flexibility for shift patterns

Desirable criteria which may be advantageous:

  • Experience using SAGE MRP systems

All positions are subject to early/late shift times.
