This is a great opportunity to join the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences supporting our Director of Operations.  You will provide high-level comprehensive support to Faculty Director of operations and play a pivotal role in the coordination of Faculty projects and events.  You will be expected to communicate at the highest level of the University and may at times also support the Faculty PVC office in the absence of the Faculty PVC’s Personal Assistant including supporting the Faculty Executive Board.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Academic and/or vocational qualifications ie NVQ Level 3 / A levels in relevant subject (or equivalent).
  • Demonstrable experience in a dedicated personal assistant role supporting senior management providing an effective service to senior management, to include diary management and delegated responsibility for monitoring emails and calls.
  • At least three years’ demonstrable relevant work experience including responsibility for coordinating events and producing and maintaining up to date project or reporting documentation and communicating project status with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience in committee servicing, data handling, project support and report writing using a variety of MS office packages and Sharepoint

Salary scale: £24,028 to £27,831 per annum
