Book-keeping & General Office Duties 

Job Description

  • Using Sage accounts and payroll package undertake the following:
  • Wages processing (weekly/monthly)
  • Process invoices, receipts and payments
  • Petty cash processing
  • Check and reconcile company bank statements
  • Compute and complete HMRC Returns (VAT, PAYE/CIS, Class 1A etc)
  • Deal with financial paperwork and associated filing
  • Prepare cash flow statements when requested
  • Assist with administrative duties from time to time including being open to undertaking additional roles within the office when required.
  • Preparation of documents required for the accountant for year end
  • Any other reasonable duties assigned by the Director

The successful candidate

To be considered for this role, your CV must effectively demonstrate that you possess the following:

  • Significant book-keeping experience
  • Use of Sage software & MS Excel for reporting purposes
  • Clear communication skills with others both internally and externally

This is a busy working environment where efficiency and accuracy are crucial

Working Hours / Days: Part-time (up to 16 hours)

Days negotiable

Hourly Rate:£16 per hour
