About the role
This role offers a challenging yet exciting opportunity to play a key role within a pioneering and innovative rehabilitation service, located in Belfast, which will provide high quality specialist support to people in NI with an alcohol-related brain injury (ARBI).
As the ARBI Clinical Lead, you will have the opportunity to bring your passion and enthusiasm to the largest pan disability charity in the UK, making a real difference to the lives of our customers. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be advising, upskilling and assisting Service Managers, Team Leaders and other colleagues in supporting individual service users with an ARBI to attain their full potential and maximise the options available, encouraging choice, participation and motivation.
You will effectively coordinate a community ARBI ‘Transitional Team’ of self- employed multidisciplinary health professionals to ensure the appropriate provision of care, personal support, daily living tasks & activities with service users. You will also ensure ongoing effective service improvements including, the design/delivery of specialist training (internal & external), ongoing development of best practice service delivery models and, the advancement of focussed research.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Experience and knowledge of therapeutic interventions techniques employed within the fields of addiction and mental health as well as experience of working within non-statutory services would be advantageous.
