Excellent opportunity for Lecturer in Horticulture based in Strabane Campus.

POST TITLE: Lecturer in Horticulture
DURATION: Until June 2022
LOCATION: Strabane Campus

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Applicants must have:
1a. a University Degree in the specialist* area or equivalent qualification;
1b. at least a Level 5 qualification in the specialist* area and 3 years relevant** post qualifying industrial, professional or teaching experience;
2. GCSE English (Grade A*-C) or Essential Skills Level 2 (or higher and) in Communication and GCSE Maths (Grade A*-C) or Essential Skills Level 2 (or higher) in Numeracy, or NICATS Access Maths Modules, or any qualifications which are deemed to be equivalent;
3. at least one year’s relevant** post qualification experience;
*specialist area defined as in the area of Horticulture.
**relevant defined as employment in the area of Horticulture.
4. a Post Graduate Certificate in Education or equivalent qualification recognised for teaching in the Northern Ireland FE Sector or be currently registered with the General Teaching Council for Northern Ireland (GTCNI).
The qualifications referred to above must be recognised and approved by DfE.
