  • Salary – £22,851 – £33,129 per annum (plus £2,640 Threshold and £1,373 Deane payment if applicable) per annum. This post will attract two responsibility allowances in addition to the annual salary.  One responsibility allowance is valued at £1,646 (effective 1 September 2017)

  • a University Degree or equivalent in a Business related area (e.g. Business Management, Marketing, Finance, Financial Services, Enterprise, Economics, HR);


  • GCSE English (Grade A*-C) or Essential Skills Level 2 (or higher) in Communication
  • and GCSE Maths (Grade A*-C) or Essential Skills Level 2 (or higher) in Numeracy or NICATS Access Maths Modules, or any qualifications which are deemed to be equivalent;


  • at least two years’ management* experience.


  • additional management* experience;
  • management* experience in a large** organisation;       
  • a Post Graduate Certificate in Education or equivalent qualification recognised for teaching in the Northern Ireland FE Sector or be currently registered with the General Teaching Council for Northern Ireland (GTCNI).

*management defined as management of a discrete area of work and management of staff.

**large organisation defined as 500+ employees.

The qualifications referred to above must be recognised and approved by DfE.

It is anticipated that interviews for this post will take place on 27 August 2019.
