Support Worker at The Cloonavin Green Project
The Support Worker & Night Support Worker will provide support to adults with learning disabilities and will be based predominantly at The Cloonavin Green Project in Coleraine. The Cloonavin Green Project is a supported living initiative in Coleraine for 25 adults with learning disabilities. Support will include help with budgeting, cooking, domestic help, socialisation. Naturally, some service users require additional help, including domestic and personal care.
Salary Remuneration: £8.35 per hour + Pension opportunity + mileage allowance (£0.415 per mile) + sleep-in allowance
Description & Duties: Full Time (35 hours per week) or Part Time (21 hours per week)
This position involves shift work including night duty on a rotational basis. Sleep-in may be required on occasion.
Shifts are typically 8am to 3pm and 3pm to 10pm
Salary Remuneration: £8.35 per hour + Pension opportunity
Description & Duties: 30 hours per week – any three nights out of seven or 20 hours per week – any two nights out of seven.
Shifts are 10pm to 8am
Requirements: The successful candidate will preferably hold an NVQ in Health & Social Care / Child Care / Early Years / B-Tech National Diploma in Social Care or other relevant qualification.
Access to your own transport with appropriate insurance is desirable but not essential.
Location: The successful applicant will be based at the Cloonavin Green Project in Coleraine but may also support service users in the surrounding area.
