The Centre for Public Health (CPH) sits within the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences (MDBS) at Queen’s University Belfast.  The Centre aims to advance the health of the public at a regional, national and international level, by increasing knowledge and influencing clinical and public health practice and policy.

We are recruiting for a Research Assistant who will support the Ophthalmic Image Reading Centre and Administrative Facility for all studies requiring scientific and research support and to lead on Ultra-wide field imaging related studies.

This post is available for 5 years.

The successful Research Assistant must have:

  • Honours degree or equivalent in scientific or health related discipline.
  • At least 1 years of recent & relevant experience grading ophthalmic medical images on primary, secondary and adjudication level, across a variety of imaging modalities for a range of ophthalmic pathologies.
