We are currently searching for a motivated and experienced Compliance Specialist to join our Belfast team, working specifically within the energy sector. The Compliance Specialist will guarantee that our business processes and transactions follow all relevant legal and internal guidelines.

Key tasks and duties will include:

  • Auditing organisational compliance in line with the regulatory authorities in Northern Ireland
  • Liaising with relevant regulatory agencies within Northern Ireland
  • Implementing and managing an effective compliance programme
  • Advise management on the Company’s compliance with laws and regulations via detailed reports
  • Regularly audit company procedures, practices and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risk
  • Resolving compliance issues and responding to policy violations
  • Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes
  • Resolve employee concerns about legal compliance
  • Staying abreast of regulatory changes

Ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:

  • 3-5 years proven experience in a Compliance Specialist capacity
  • Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures, with an emphasis on the energy sector
  • Brilliant oral and written skills
  • Highly analytical with a strong attention to detail
