Working as a network admin assistant in Allen Logistics is extremely rewarding and provides an excellent place to start a career. This job is focused on providing a professional service within our business and liaising with key parties within our pallet networks.

 

Departmental Activity/Aims:

 

The job of a Network admin assistant is very varied and supportive role. The post holder will be part of a team of people who will be focused on delivering the most efficient and professional service with all those they come into contact with.

 

This is a full time position Monday – Friday however occasional Saturday would be required.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

The role is very fast paced so being highly motivated is key, you’ll need to be resilient as the job can sometimes be busy and pressurized. Our customers will be calling you when they need your advice and support most, so helping people and giving them the best experience possible, will matter to you. The ideal candidate should have a pleasant telephone manner, good interpersonal skills, and a commitment to customer care, be a good team member and be able to remain calm whilst working under pressure. Your positive and professional approach along with creativity and flair will help you build relationships which is critical when working and chasing customer orders and delays. You need to be a confident individual with a supportive nature when assisting our drivers with any network issues. you would be responsible for fielding calls from our customers; taking orders, assisting with technical queries, and providing first class customer service, ensuring needs are consistently met and exceeded. You would also be expected to assist in other areas on occasion, including answering emails, inputting data, liaising with drivers and supporting the network manager.

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

 

Proven previous experience in logistics and pallet network (desirable)

 

Preferred Skills and experience:

•Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal skills essential for this role.

•You need to be practice and a problem solver.

•Team Player.

•Good attention to detail.

•Flexible.

•Computer literate.
