Our success is based on our people, and we now have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Communications Manager to join our Product Management & Marketing team in Belfast.

As the Marketing Communications Manager, you will have 8 direct reports in all, with 2 based in our US office and the rest in Belfast. You’ll be responsible for the management of a highly creative team of Marketing professionals, comprising a Global Events Coordinator, Graphic Designer, Digital Marketing Executive, Front End Website Developer, Lead Generation Specialists, Marketing Support Executive and a Technical Content Author.

As well as managing your team, you will be responsible for meeting lead targets across multiple activities, segments and regions, developing and implementing a global Marcomms strategy, coordinating with the Oxford Instruments group on global branding guidelines, and ensuring consistency of brand across all media – including tradeshows, social media, website and print.

Key responsibilities:

  • To proactively develop and implement the Global Marcomms strategy to increase the quantity of leads, revenue and market share in line with the company strategy.
  • Line management and development of the Global Marcomms team
  • Responsibility for developing and positioning the Oxford Instruments Andor brand through consistent communications (advertising, PR & web), tradeshows & exhibitions, sponsorship, merchandising and collateral.
  • Plan and administer Andor’s marketing operations budget.
  • Input into the CRM database workflows to include lead management, list building, opportunity reporting and ongoing customer engagement and tracking.
  • Oversee Andor’s electronic marketing efforts including website design and development, eMarketing campaigns, social media strategy and online advertising.
  • Project management of global marketing campaigns.
  • Edit and review Andor Marketing Collateral and Press Releases before public release
  • Any other duties as may be reasonably requested from time to time by your Line Manager

To be successful, you will need to be able to demonstrate substantial relevant professional experience including:

  • Internal marketing collateral development
  • Experience in web, digital, print, exhibitions
  • Line management or team-lead experience
  • Project management
  • Budget management
  • Supplier management

You will also need to demonstrate a results- and customer-focused orientation to your work as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
