Job Purpose

To deliver goods to local customers 2 days per week (Wednesday & Friday).

The Person

Essential:

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience as a delivery driver
  • Organisational skills
  • Time management 
  • Full, clean licence required
  • Strong customer service skills

Desirable:

  • Level 3 Food Hygiene Qualification (or equivalent)
  • Health and Safety / First Aid related qualification
  • Experience within the meat production industry
  • Experience within the chilled sector
  • Experience of management and control of short shelf life foods

The Job

  • Deliver goods in a timely and professional manner
  • Load van in morning and responsible for ensuring correct stock on van
  • Courteous and polite to customers
  • Must be able to able to take customer feedback and report back to local sales manager.
  • Maintain documentation regarding distribution of items
  • Organise stock in van and ensure safety during travel.
  • Maintain vehicle as well as all paperwork
  • Unload goods as per customer’s specifications
