Experience & Qualifications 

For our Project and Support Analyst position, you simply need to have studied an IT or Business related degree and have at least 2-years’ experience in a related role. If you have already undertaken a placement year then this is also advantageous as we will consider this as 1 year towards your experience.

The role: The Robot Exchange has an opportunity for an IT Project and Support Analyst to join our fastgrowing IT team. The role is full time permanent (37.5 hours per week) and will be based in Lisburn. You will be working in the growing and highly exciting Robotic Process Automation space as we continue to expand our custom-built software solutions. The job is a split of IT Project and Support related tasks.

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage IT Projects both RPA and .net stack solutions.
  • Support IT solutions and deployments on our service desk solution based on ITIL principles.
  • Support Azure and AWS cloud SaaS solutions
  • Communicate with customers when required via email, phone and on occasions site visits.
  • Own project management related tasks such as weekly status report updates and creation of project plans. 
  • Management of Risks, Actions and Decisions logs. 
  • Provide regular updates on critical path and milestone progress across various projects. 
  • Work with Developer and Business Analyst teams to create project plans and assist with resource planning.
  • Work with the BA team across Confluence, Jira and Zephyr tools. 
  • Work productively, unsupervised and multitask across multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to work independently and to deliver within provided deadlines
  • Ownership of project documentation within an agile environment.   

Essential: 

  • IT related degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within IT Project and/or IT Support role 
  • Previous experience supporting Microsoft based solutions both client and server
  • Proven experience managing IT tasks and projects whether infrastructure or software related.
  • Must be a self-starter, confident in your ability and being able to plan and organise workload.  
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure. 

Desirable: 

  • Prince 2 Foundation or Practitioner 
  • Awareness of IT legislation and developments within IT
  • Previous experience working on automation projects
  • Previous experience working with SAAS applications
