Excellent opportunity for a Human Resources Officer based in Belfast

The Europa Hotel are currently seeking applications from suitably experienced candidates for the following post:

Job Title: Human Resources Officer

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, office hours.

Job Type: Full time, permanent

Key Duties will include:

  • Assisting the Human Resources Manager on all matters pertaining to recruitment and selection (ie: sourcing, shortlisting, interviewing and inducting new starts etc)
  • Maintaining comprehensive recruitment data to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Ensuring payroll administration for all weekly paid staff is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring accurate and comprehensive personnel records are maintained always.
  • Advising line management on the correct application of Company policy and procedures.        
  • Assisting the Human Resources Manager with regular and ad hoc reports when required.
  • Assisting the Human Resources Manager on all matters pertaining to the training and development of new and established staff. 
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Company policies, procedures and initiatives to support the continuous development of the HR function within the hotel and the wider business group. 
  • Any other duties as required.

The ideal candidate will be experienced, CIPD qualified or working towards their CIPD qualifications.

Applicants must be educated to GCSE level or the equivalent with grades A-C in English and Maths and ideally educated to 3rd level standard.

The Human Resources Officer is a full-time position.
