At Terex, our customers come first and we take pride in providing first-class support to our worldwide dealer network. Following the advancement of a long standing colleague into another part of our business, a position has become available for a Helpdesk technician based in Dungannon.

The primary focus of the helpdesk technician is to provide technical support for all screening, crushing and environmental products manufactured in Northern Ireland sold Worldwide to Terex Dealers and team members.


Main duties and responsibilities include:


  • Provide technical support to Terex Aftermarket team members, Dealers over the Automated Helpdesk, phone, via email or in person, to enable swift resolution of technical issues
  • Taking machine breakdown/VOR details from direct Dealers and Terex Team Members (TM)
  • Generate a technical report to Technical Support Manager detailing the fault(s) found & repair method utilised to ensure in-field issues are clearly understood by providing all necessary information on those issues
  • Tracking/Creating of call logs for each month
  • Working with Technical Support Warranty Team relating to technical Dealer claim details 
  • Identify Dealer Technical Training requirements and where appropriate highlight to Technical Training Department, to enable local or regional training for Dealers in relevant aspects of servicing and repairing equipment
  • Promote ideas for product enhancements or feasible cost reductions identified while dealing with Dealer Technical Issues.


We’re looking for an exceptional individual with a good educational background in a technical discipline, mechanical, electrical or manufacturing, educated to a minimum of GCSE level or equivalent. This is a multi-faced role, so you’ll need excellent commicutaion and written skills and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. We’d ideallly like previous experience working in an Aftermarket Technical Support Role for a producer of construction equipment, and will prioritise those indviduals with problem investigation and resolution skills and techniques. In addition, youll have a good standard of IT skill, specifically MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
