We are looking for Graduate Structural Engineers to join our Structures and Fire Team based in our Belfast office to work on a diverse range of projects across both the Private and Public Sector.
The Structural Engineering Sector within RPS has been responsible for some of the UK and Ireland’s most prestigious building including the iconic £97m Titanic Belfast Building. We are engaged on many exciting schemes both within the private and public sector and can offer a diverse range of interesting projects for the right person to thrive. The successful candidate will be mentored and given training to achieve Chartered Status and benefit from working in a team of experienced colleagues who will nurture and guide you to achieve the best in your professional career.
About the Role
Structural engineering design for Commercial and Industrial buildings;
Design of elements utilizing structural concrete, steel, timber and masonry;
Supporting senior staff in business development activities;
Visiting sites to carry out inspection duties;
Preparation of reports as requested;
Maintaining your CPD and progress towards Chartership.
You should possess MEng or equivalent degree in Structural Engineering with a view to becoming Chartered.
Knowledge of Computational Structural Analysis (Masterseries, Orion, Tedds or similar);
Knowledge of BIM and 3D Modelling Software (Revit) for drawing as well as
Knowledge of UK design codes, Euro codes and specifications.
Full UK driving licence.
