Dean Unique a sister company of NEA Engineering Group, a fit out contractor who also design and manufacture bespoke furniture pieces to suit their clients needs.  They offer a complete package from concept and design to fit out and complete turn key experience.  Due to considerable growth they are currently seeking to employ an experienced metal fabricator, who will be located in the NEA Engineering Group factory in Gilford.

Permanent Full-Time Metal Fabricator

Salary – DOE 

The successful candidate will work on individual bespoke furniture pieces as well as being part of a fast-paced welding / fabricating team.  Responsible for the manufacture of new and existing projects as well as high quality sample metal pieces, while working to tight deadlines.

Duties & responsibilities;

  • DEAN Unique prides itself on its high-quality metal fabrication, we expect the candidate to share the same high standard. 
  • Candidate will be expected to read and fabricate from engineers’ drawings and must be confident to do this using their own initiative.
  • Work with mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper and bronze
  • MIG/TIG welding
  • Quality control on items produced, and checks made against technical drawings 

Qualifications & Requirements;

  • Must have minimum 2 years’ experience in stainless steel, brass and copper fabrication and welding, and are able to show examples of previous work.
  • A desire to learn and progress, able to listen and follow instructions and work from one’s own initiative.
  • Must hold a Full Clean Driving Licence

Experience & Competencies;

  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent attention to detail and meticulous planning skills
  • Self-motivated and capable of working under minimal supervision.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines in high pressure situations
