The Finance Officer will manage the day-to-day financial and administration activities in an efficient and effective manner.


Finance Officer (24/32 hours per week)

The Finance Officer will manage the day-to-day financial and administration activities in an efficient and effective manner.

 Main Purpose of job

To assist the Finance and Admin Manager with daily tasks.

 Relationships

A) Responsible to:                  Finance and Administration Manager

B) Assisting:                            Director/ Human Resources Department                  

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To manage the company payroll for 200+ employees
  • Inputting data to Sage accounts including invoices, purchase invoice payments, shop lodgements and bank payments.
  • General accounts related administration.
  • To work alongside the finance manager using sage accounts to provide a quarterly management report.
  • Assisting Finance Manager with day to day tasks.

 The above list is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.

 The Ideal Person

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience using Sage payroll and Accounts
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Highly confidential and diplomatic
  • A willingness to learn about the betting industry
