Finance & Commercial Manager – The role sits within our commercial team, reporting to the Managing Director. As a key member of the senior management team you will actively contribute, both from a financial and commercial perspective, to the ongoing strategic development of the business.  
Being a contract driven business, a key financial responsibility of this role will be in challenging the performance of the company in satisfying its contractual obligations and thus determining the level of revenue that should be recognised as each contract progresses.
Day to day you will:

•To develop and manage strategic and operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Tibus and Zesty
•To guide operational teams on margin and efficiency metrics on a weekly basis 
•To create project accounting models and business cases for key projects and investment opportunities across Tibus and Zesty
•To be responsible for all financial functions and processes within Tibus and Zesty
•To prepare monthly management accounts for Tibus and Zesty management teams
•To prepare forecasting models including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, bi weekly revenue forecasts, weekly trading update reports and other ad hoc
reporting as required
•To communicate with finance personnel throughout the Wireless / News UK Group to ensure compliance with group (and statutory) reporting requirements
What we’re looking for from you:
You will be a self-starter that is keen to get involved in the commercial conversations within the business and thrive on working in a fast-paced environment. You will want to build business plans, create profitability analysis models and develop efficiency reporting tools.
Experience in a service provider, professional services, digital agency or technology business environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
•Part or fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA
•Business partner and commercial experience
•Strong commercial acumen 
•Ability to work in a fast paced environment and build strong working relationships 
It goes without saying that you have worked in different and challenging environments have the relevant technical experience in network engineering.  We’d love it if you were ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified, or at least actively working towards that, although relevant hands on experience is more important than having the qualification.
