Working with: Ecommerce and Customer Service Teams

What does this role contribute to the Company?

This role will ensure that direct sales to customers through our website are maximised, and that we provide a consumer experience that meets the needs of our diverse customer base. 

What we’ll ask of you:

This role oversees the B2C sales areas of our business where we sell directly to customers, through the channels of our own websites.  You develop and lead the Ecommerce strategy to drive online brand awareness, affinity and sales, managing PPC, SEO and Google Analytics supported by creative & digital agencies where appropriate.  You have a strong focus at all times on sales, both in terms of increasing revenue & profitability and identifying future opportunities and channels for growth and sustainability.  You manage your team in regards to implementation of strategy, including ensuring they are motivated, directed and supported, measuring individual and sector performance in relation to sales figures and KPIs.  You maintain commercial awareness, keeping up with market trends, and being able to report on sector performance in relation to product, pricing, and marketplace performance to Head of Sales and Directors.

You work closely with Marketing regarding campaigns, promotions and content, conducting evaluation, analysis and ROI reporting.  You contribute to the NPI process, feeding in relevant and pertinent information with regards to new products; also playing your part in our commitment to continuous improvement of existing products by conveying information from your analysis or customer feedback that would assist in increasing sales.  You also work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure we develop and accomplish growth plans and overall business objectives and achieve our vision and mission to be the market leader.

What we’re looking for

Ideally you will have a strong background in a similar sales focused position, with excellent knowledge of ecommerce platforms and analytical tools & reporting.   You’ll enjoy working autonomously, as well as part of the team, and be confident in leading and motivating your team to work towards driving sales and delivering confident and clear messaging about our products to customers.  You will also ideally have experience of scoping out new business development prospects, ensuring that our ecommerce platforms capitalise on UX and selling opportunities.  You bring energy and dynamicism aplenty, have solid understanding of both front and back end operations, alongside being a proficient user of Excel.  You are confident to be able to analyse information and report, including making recommendations and completing performance checks on relevant initiatives, engaging with and being supported by external agencies where appropriate.  You should have an appreciation of the inevitable overlap of the worlds of marketing and online, and be able to form strong working relationships with marketing and other internal teams to work together to deliver Company goals.

We operate across two sites (Magherafelt and Belfast) and split can be discussed further at interview, and we are keen to embrace new technology into our ways of work to facilitate and support our team.   Working hours generally circa 37.5 hours per week.  Salary negotiable.
